Waste Management and schools - Forum Dec 8th
SERRROC has been working with the NSW Government Departments of Education and Training and Climate Change and Water on the issue of helping schools in the SERRROC region avoid, reduce and recycle so-called waste materials. The forum provides schools, Councils and other stakeholders an opportunity to discuss how best to do this. This forum will set down a possible strategy for implementation across the SERRROC region for the next few years but in such a way as to take into account curriculum needs, school circumstances and specific issues in local council areas.
This forum on December 8th is a great opportunity to have a say about how best to link local schools and councils together with positive productive educational and practical results regarding waste stream management and with links to sustainability policies
